Marilyn began in an Ohio home where winter pressed against the windows and the kitchen stayed warm –  a place crowded with family heirlooms, spice candles, and trays of cookies and pies cooling on every surface.

 

We grew up in that room, watching Marilyn move through the clutter with quiet rhythm, shaping dough, lifting trays from the oven, filling the space with a sweetness that felt like its own kind of language. Though perfection was never the goal, she somehow managed to make even the imperfect perfect  Everything she made felt personal and that's what we want to bring to you.

 

Those winters taught us that food carries memory, and that lesson shaped Lost in the Sauce and this small bakery named in her honor. Every cookie we make now carries a trace of that kitchen. A reminder of where we come from and what we hope to return to.
